Wremen a little village near Bremerhaven :D

Our ( Nele + me ) next stop was Wremen. It’s located on the river Weser which leads into the North Sea. Here you’ve got the tides so most of the time the water is gone. :D but then you can take of your shoes and go walk into the watt. It’s very good for your feet. :D but its dirty as well so make you don’t wear white stuff. Well I did that and our dog jumped at me so my white shirt wasn’t that white after all. :D

This part of my Germany tour was the most relaxed one. We didn’t have to do anything so we just went fishing and watched a lot of really good movies, like Captain America or Safe House. It was just amazing.

On one afternoon we thought that we could go into the city. So we drove into Bremerhaven. After we looked around the coast we thought: let’s go into the “Zoo am Meer”. Its just a zoo on the coast and we thought that they just have a couple of animals from this area. But when we walked around we saw polar bears and monkeys. And we were really disappointed because all this enclosures were way to small and when you watch the animals a little bit longer you notice that they just walk/swim in circles.  They had a few seals and sea lions. So there were a couple of animals from this area but it would be way better to let the animals in the nature and don’t force them into a little zoo.

So I’m very disappointed but when you carry on walking towards the city you have a really nice shopping area!:D And the train station isn’t far away.

Hamburg

It’s just amazing what people created here. :D

We went into this lovely city by walking once around the Train station. :D we didn’t exactly knew were to go. :D but when we found the shopping area everything was fine. I Love sale!!^^ so we went shopping! <3 and of cause Starbucks!^^ it was awesome. They chose to do their coffee house inside of an old little house in the middle of a street and do a modern setting inside of it. :D

Our first destination was the “Speicherstadt” it’s the old warehouse-complex and it was a part of the big harbor. The haven is like a city by itself.  It’s a huge complex with modern hotels and other buildings. But as a normal person you’re welcome as well. You have really nice areas with some art and places to rest and chill. So when you finished your big shopping trip you can just sit in these grounds and enjoy the sun :)

But while we were just walking around we saw all this poverty as well. Hamburg has a nice houses and parks but is also one of the most expensive cities in Germany. So it’s not that easy for everybody.

BUT I don't want to end this post that sad so have a wonderful day because we do what we can.

LÜBECK :D

Last week I stayed in Lübeck at a friend’s house. It was really lovely. We had enough time to go to the beach, go shopping in Lübeck (and Hamburg) and to do a sightseeing tour through Lübeck. You got all this lovely churches in Lübeck with a lot of history. We visited Jakobi church, Marien church and the cathedral. I need to say at this point, that these churches aren’t catholic but they are still incredible to walk through and see all this nice art and work they put into these churches. (even when you don’t believe in anything its still really awsome).

there is so much to choose :P
Of cause we also visited some well known tourist magnets like the Holzentor und the Niederegger café. They have amazing cakes and desserts with their very famous marzipan. It’s really good and I know you need to spend a little bit more money in there but it is worth it.

You can’t miss out on a little walk through the streets and alleys as well. They are really nice and adorned with lots of beautiful flowers. Just take your time and stroll along the river Trave or do a tour on a boat! :D

To sum everything up: Lübeck is a really nice city, you can see a lot and you can spend ages in the city.
I’m really looking forward to life here one day! :DD <3

Me and the Beach

Well I’m not a big fan of the beach because I don’t like everybody staring at me, it’s cold and windy, you’ll be wet and you get sand everywhere. Maybe I don’t need the beach as much as everybody else. My best friend Nele told me that she would go every day when she could. My answer wasn’t  that nice but true:  “when you live by the beach you don’t need it so much! You have it all around you every day and then it’s ok to go into the water just once in a while. It was the same with me in Australia.” I think that was not what she expected. :D

So that’s how I think of the beach in general. On my trip it the north of Germany we had a lot of time so Nele and I went nearly every day to the beach. And it was lovely. The weather was really good and the water up here isn’t as salty as in other seas. :D and they are so many handsome boys up  here and watching them play volleyball let me forget that everything is full of sand. :D so you don’t need to travel fare to see hot boys and girls. You just need a beach. So the beach isn’t  that bad you just need to go to the right one with the right person!
So check out Neles Blog: http://maybelifemaybenot.blogspot.de/ ( it's german) :D

Preparations for my next big trip!

Well it isn’t that big in comparison to my other trips. This time I’m about to do a trip through Germany. :D I’ll go to the North with visiting Lübeck, Hamburg, Bremen and Berlin and I’ll go to the South to see Stuttgart and Munich. In between all this I’ll visit Vienna for two days.

That’s all possible because I bought a “Deutschland-pass”. It’s pretty good because you can travel though howl Germany for a month and if you want to go to Austria or Switzerland you can go there for two days as well. So it’s perfect and finally I’ll be able see Berlin and Vienna. :D

I will take my laptop with me so I can write while I’m away. Well that’s the point of this Blog anyway! :D
